MISS B’S CURRICULUM
Rooted in years of early childhood development, our philosophy nurtures the whole child—emotionally, socially, and physically—through play, imagination, and hands-on discovery.
We cultivate artistic expression through experiences that inspire natural wonder, curiosity, and original thought. From our pottery studio to watercolor classes to carpentry and more, there’s something to spark every child’s creativity.

We celebrate the magic of language—spoken, written, sung, and signed. Through storytelling, song, conversation, and exposure to additional languages like French, Spanish and Mandarin, we help children build confidence, connection, and a lifelong love of communication.

We plant the seed for children to foster both their individuality and connectedness to community and planet. Our edible garden, nature walks, cooking classes, and mindfulness practices are a few of the many ways nature guides us.

Maybe it’s the magic of quaint and sunny Summerland, or maybe it’s our dreamy little corner at Olive and Lillie with ocean views—there’s something about our early childhood development center that feels naturally enchanting and warm.
Stepping inside Miss B, you’ll discover inclusive spaces that support our expansive, play-based classes. Here, little ones can explore our pottery studio, edible garden, and flourishing art spaces. The club is truly a place for every child to explore, dance, create, collaborate, and express themselves in their own unique way. The magic and wonder starts here and lasts far beyond these walls.

MEET MISS B
With devotion to early childhood curriculum and genuine empathy at her core, Sara Brennan, also known as Miss B has dedicated her life to building a new kind of learning environment for children and families.
Working as a teacher and nanny before founding her own nursery school in London, Miss B felt called to bring her diverse background to Santa Barbara. She envisions the club to be an example of what is possible in early childhood education: a place to believe wholeheartedly in the inner magic of ourselves, and of our passion and purpose in this world.

OUR NURTURERS
At Miss B, everyone who joins our team—teachers, astrologers, chefs, gardeners, writers—is a nurturer. From the classroom to the garden to the office, they are motivated by a unified goal of cultivating bright, inspired futures for our children. By leading with a nurturing spirit, our staff allows their backgrounds and expertise to flow naturally with compassion.
