Miss B aims to elevate the standards of—and transform how we think about—early childhood development through a compassionate approach to the whole, individual child.

The story of Miss B.
I have always had deep empathy for children—after all, they are our future and deserve to thrive. Since my early career, I felt destined to help ignite the spark of curiosity in young children, working as a teacher and a nanny. Later as a founder of my own nursery schools in London, I realized it was possible to help children find their inner magic by reimagining their very first learning experiences in life.
When I discovered how empowering children, grounding ourselves in nature, and harnessing community could all exist at once, my life’s work came into focus. Funny enough, finding one’s own purpose is exactly what led me to open Miss B: I wanted to build a sanctuary for young children to become their true selves—not only to learn, but to dance, paint, wander, and connect to the world with love.
We learn so much by listening: to nature, to others, and to ourselves. My philosophy on education is rooted in the idea that children will naturally show us their innate passions (and truest selves) if we listen and observe.
Miss B is a play-to-learn center where little ones grow through creativity and connection. We believe that when you give children the space and resources to express themselves freely—whether it’s in the pottery studio or gardening with friends—something magical happens. That’s the kind of magic I’ve dedicated my life to, and that’s why opening the doors to Miss B is a dream come true.
Equipped with my unique background, our expert nurturers, our magical, sunny Summerland location, and you (the families who make it all happen!) I can’t wait to believe, become, and to BE together.
